Welcome!
Our goal is to raise healthy AKC Golden Retrievers that are prepared for anything from working as service dogs to joining a home as family pets. Pie, our first Golden Retriever, has brought much joy to our family. We hope one of her puppies might do the same for you! Our breeding program is built around the twin priorities of health and preparation, all in the context of a loving home.
Healthy Puppies
Good health starts with good genetics. Our parent dogs have their OFA hips, elbows, heart, and CERF eye clearance, as well as DNA tests showing they are clear of all breed specific genetic disorders. Once the puppies are weaned, they will receive a regular diet of Purina One Large Breed Puppy formula. We have been specially approved by NuVet labs to use NuVet vitamins to support our dogs immune systems. The puppies will have their first set of shots and worming while still with us, and we won't send a puppy to a new home without veterinarian approval.
Prepared for Future Service
We want these puppies to be able to go as far as you want to take them in their training. Each of our puppies will be raised using the Puppy Culture method which focuses on early neurological stimulation (ENS) and early socialization. A safe puppy exercise guide will be sent home with each of the puppies as a guide in getting your new puppy off to a good start. Filling out the client questionnaire is a good way to learn more about the privileges and responsibilities of owning a Golden Retriever.
